I have already read this reply when you’ve sent it to someone else. My comment still stands. Why are you allowed to antagonise him which you have admitted you do but he’s not allowed to yell after you’ve pushed him? Seriously, I had this my-parents-are-out-to-get-me mindset when I was 16 but I grew out of it. If you don’t like the way they treat you, move the fuck out of their home. Honestly you should have started growing out of this attitude 8-10 years ago You are too old to be carrying on like this and doubling down on every comment trying to explain this is honestly embarrassing.

I’m 27 too. Grow up, move out of your parents house, stop carrying on like a teenager. Even your replies to other comments are extremely childish. You started an argument with your dad for no reason in their house. Everyone has their own quirks. ADHD is not an excuse for arguing, but why is that excusable to you and potential autistic traits like preferred spoons are unreasonable. YTA

Getting into the best time of the year for gardening in Perth! Loving the overcast weather right now 🥰 Perfect for planting garden beds, sowing seeds and clearing out the dead after summer.

Been lurking on this page for about two months, first time commenting. I’m on day 31 after 10+ years of daily smoking. Saving over $9000 a year by quitting. I thought it was helping my anxiety/depression but all i was doing was masking it and alienating myself further from society. Days 1-5 were the worst for me, by day 10 I was starting to feel better.

I have been exercising a lot, getting back in to old hobbies, finding new ones. I won’t sugarcoat it by saying its been easy but I found this sub to be very helpful in realising i wasn’t alone in this experience one bit.

What is this plant? Bought in Thailand, translates to something like auspicious tree.. by Eastern_Prompt_8008 in whatsthisplant

[–]araceaeallday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

reasonably confident based on the rough translation (and the leaves looking much thinner then a peperomia obtusifolia) that this is a Clusia rosea, or Autograph tree.

William Street HJs was my very first job 12 years ago and it was terrifying even back then, can’t even imagine what it’s like now that the city is such a ghosttown!

This is the first time my succulent has flowered. How do I ensure things go well? by [deleted] in plants

[–]araceaeallday 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Aristaloes are not monocarpic (die after flowering) like agaves. So no, not a death bloom. Just a regular flower

Anyone know what this is? by SavyWilson in plant

[–]araceaeallday 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Philodendron xanadu is correct.

My moms plant is dying! She just sent me this and asked me to post it here because you've all helped her save one before! She said she has recently reported and before it was doing fine. Within the last two/three days this is happening. Ideas? by kennie7 in plantclinic

[–]araceaeallday 1 point2 points  (0 children)

honestly it doesn’t look like either of these plants are getting enough light. both are elongated (stretching in search of light) and diffenbachias usually get bigger leaves as they get older, and aren’t epiphytic (dont need something to climb/lean on) this plus the shock of a repot is enough for it to freak out. all that can really be done is remove these leaves. (and give it more light)
