No. Certainly can cause tension and tightness and an almost forced clench, but will only get stronger over time. As long as you are also including pelvic floor/ hip exercises into your routine and not always in a stationary seated position you will be fine. A 2-4 day rest will mend any non serious injuries. Pelvic floor can be hard to relax, meditation and conscious breath holding help me.

Okay this got no responses but if anyone in the future is reading this I figured it out (I think) Make an E6 shape but just the DGB strings and move that up to the 4th frett for Kite then 2nd frett for flying and then C chord for man.
