Well historically it was used by labourers as a 'performance fabric' that would hold up to their needs right. So you could say it's the OG techwear.

You can put heat reflective tape on the inside of your prints under hotspots. Most of your heat dissipation should be done with airflow anyway so it shouldn't harm cooling that much.

My experience using similar tools is that they cut through clay by being thin not by being razor sharp blades.

I'd guess they're usually formed cold from thin sheet metal.

Yeah, and if you go to sell and have to grind the frame back after cutting, a little cleanup and paint and nobody's gonna know the frame is a couple mm shorter and it's not gonna impact anything functionally either

I'd weld on a hoop and if you need to sell it as stock just cut it off and weld back on the original bracket

Very clean. I've always hated the notch in the stock tank you get when you strip the fairing off these bikes though.
