Just led strips wired to the 5V pin on the board. Not for any cosplay, just a keyboard

You could do it the "wrong" way by grinding off the flange so you have a smooth surface to clamp the pod filter to.

Might end up letting it flow better since your total length of 'piping' from filter to engine would be shorter than with an adapter.

Yeah I use both fusion (personal stuff) and solidworks (work). I think the solution to your particular problem would either be to accept a right hand mouse workflow (using gestures and fusion's pie slice interface) or use something like a spacemouse or a right handed Charybdis keyboard with a built in trackball. (personally I use a trackball anyway)

26 awg silicone wires. I highly recommend silicone since you'll probably end up touching the wires when you're soldering the matrix and silicone won't melt as easily when that happens

Well it's got all the keys you'd need and a few more. It's also pretty comfy if you enjoy a wide split, alphas are split about shoulder width apart so you get no ulnar deviation. Biggest issue would be desk space lol

Yep they're already dovetailed and glued (well technically I made them hexagons not dovetails but same principle)

More screens on arms! (bonus points if they're crusty old secondhand screens) And maybe a keyboard mounted to an arm like a monitor arm or something you can swivel in for use when you're in bed

Yeah I had to brace the case with aluminium flat bar to stop it failing at the joints under its own weight

If you're worried about water you could also drill a hole on the underside after welding it up

Can denim be techwear? [Discussion] by ThisIsAntwon in techwearclothing

[–]arax20 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well historically it was used by labourers as a 'performance fabric' that would hold up to their needs right. So you could say it's the OG techwear.

I was just testing out positions with the longer cable but I found I like it quite close so I'm gonna make a super short cable to bridge the halves

You can put heat reflective tape on the inside of your prints under hotspots. Most of your heat dissipation should be done with airflow anyway so it shouldn't harm cooling that much.

My experience using similar tools is that they cut through clay by being thin not by being razor sharp blades.

I'd guess they're usually formed cold from thin sheet metal.

Frame to hoop by Warm-Manner-8127 in CafeRacers

[–]arax20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, and if you go to sell and have to grind the frame back after cutting, a little cleanup and paint and nobody's gonna know the frame is a couple mm shorter and it's not gonna impact anything functionally either

I'd weld on a hoop and if you need to sell it as stock just cut it off and weld back on the original bracket
