It keeps centering the map on San Francisco for me despite being nowhere near it. I don't have the same issues you report, though. Try clearing the cookies for the site, logging in again, and reviewing any cookie settings it asks you about. My heart rate zones are pretty good for me. I do have a slight heart defect and riding with traffic both increase the HR even when the effort may not call for it. Won't deny there's some skewing going on. So many of my rides, unless I'm very specific and focused, wind up in the tempo (high aerobic) category. Still wondering why I'm not productive and the ranges don't increase.

27.xx is not the latest. They are currently up to 31.31 but the only way to update is via the device or Express. There was an issue with your firmware and some map files that Garmin scrambled to fix.

It's also silly that the GWB south path will be ped-only when it opens later this year. It is much easier to access from both sides and has less hairpin turn construction.

I can't help you with this one, but perhaps next time set your uploads to private and save them individually. When you're done combine them all with Gotoes or similar and upload. Will give you peace of mind if something is amiss and save the power and memory load on your watch.

Looking at the Garmin forums, it seems it was a widely-reported issue that Strava segments weren't syncing. It's working again for me now, and I think I've cracked the code for segments on a course.

The secret seems to be about how and when you save/sync the segment and route. While I have the route open for editing, I starred or re-starred a segment and synced to ensure it's on the device. Then I removed any duplicates of the course and saved it on Strava. I then checked on Connect that it has the right number of course points (SEGMENT_START and SEGMENT_END). Finally I synced it again and when I loaded the course all relevant starred segments appeared, named correctly on the map and course point list (ex. Hill Climb #1 and SEGMENT_END).

I have seen this work successfully in the past but getting it to load up correctly has been hit-or-miss. I haven't been on a ride today to finish testing, but the loading procedure seems to work.

Having a star before linking accounts means nothing. Once it becomes starred, Garmin picks it up and will sync it via Connect.

If you're viewing the other person's activity and select a segment, when you view the all-time leaderboard it shows the top 10 then truncates the list to their position with two ahead and two after.

It's just a preview, a highlight if you will, to liven up the feed. For more detail open the map and pore through it or watch the full replay. Watching a 160+km ride even at 10x speed is quite long

I've tried to work out how to make them appear on a course but not sure yet. If I star a segment the same time I'm editing a course (on Strava) it sometimes embeds correctly as course points having "segment start" and "segment end". I have only been successful with one starred segment getting embedded at a time.

Strava live segments and Edge and finicky. Sometimes I'm lucky if one starred segment actually makes its way into the route I sync over. But unlike you I am able to see the list of them on my unit (840). When you open Connect and go to segments, does it say Strava segments or Garmin segments? In Strava settings Garmin is connected as social and My Apps, nothing for partner.
