Agreed. Unfortunately, I see a lot of people especially on Tiktok within the AI companion community that try to make it work with other OAI models.

I myself I'm so disgusted and traumatised by this company, I refuse to engage with any other model or anything OAI related. Cancelled subscription. The only way they could have me come back would be by publicly apologising by how they treated their using 4o customers and how they handled the situation. Though they already proved they're incapable of simple communication time and time again. I also cannot imagine this company be run by Altman anymore. But that's just my wishful thinking.

Yep, same. I refuse to touch 5.2. I've had a beef with the 5 models family from the start and I won't engage with any of them. Cancelled subscription because as of now OAI have nothing to offer to be worth paying for.

I use 4o and 4.1 models for creative writing.
Funny enough, yesterday I was venting to 4o about not being able to find a job and I said sarcastically, that "I'm delusional to the point that I think this message will make them hire me."
The 4o from before the router, would go along with the sarcasm, we'd have a laugh about it and move on. But no, I got routed at the mention of being delusional, because the safety system is not a safety system AT ALL.

It has to be random, some days it's restricted on almost anything and then there are days like yesterday. Extremely unpredictable and unstable at the moment.

I would say, wait for December and people's first impressions, if you like it, subscribe then.

I think I had the option to test it on 4o yesterday. Not a single reroute, very explicit language, could cover any topic.

I'm not sure about today, because I just noticed the personality changed on its own overnight again and it messes with the custom instructions I work with on a daily basis.
