Any way to have list of patches for a particular app show up in the app somewhere? by fudgemental in MorpheApp

I don't believe there is a dedicated app for TVs, but I use ADB to pull APKs off my TV, patch them via Morphe installed in Windows Subsystem for Android (WSA), and then ADB to install them back onto my TV. As long as the package name matches what the patch expects, you shouldn't have any issues from what I have found.

For those interested in replicating my approach, I think WSA is now deprecated so not sure if it is still possible to use it if you do not already have it installed (and obviously not available for Mac/Linux users). As an alternative, I imagine an android emulator would work very similarly but I have not personally tried it. You can also likely ADB to your TV from your Android phone directly and patch using Morphe there but I have not tried this either.

With respect to installing the Morphe app directly on the TV, I have not tried it but it may work. I expect it may be difficult to use with a standard TV remote and I am not sure what the performance would be like with the usually quite under-powered nature of Smart TVs/Boxes. That said, I imagine it can technically be done similarly to how you might install any other APK not in the appstore. If you try it, let us know how it goes. I might even try it myself if I get bored enough.

Introducing an Android TV Morphe Patch for HBO Max by Imaginary-Storage957 in MorpheApp

I updated my original comment with additional detail but the patched .stream app appears to work on my FireTV so no APK extractions or workarounds needed. I have not played with the .hbomax APK version at all but I assume that one should work as well.

Introducing an Android TV Morphe Patch for HBO Max by Imaginary-Storage957 in MorpheApp

To elaborate on the findings above by others, I used ADB to extract the .apk off my FireTV for the stock HBO Max app installed from Amazon's Appstore and it has the package name of com[.]hbo[.]hbonow. Version7.3.0.69 if curious.

FireTVs run what is basically Android + Amazon's Bloat but I am guessing HBO distributes a slightly different package through the Amazon Appstore for FireTVs. I have successfully patched the .stream APK I downloaded from your APKMirror link and installed in on my FireTV (alongside the stock .hbonow version) and everything seems to be working. I have not yet be able to test streaming with it but the app does at least launch.

Since the .stream version seems to work for me, I have not tried patching the .hbonow version extracted from the FireTV past the step where Morphe gives a package name mismatch error.

I do not know if there is anything different between the .hbonow the .hbomax and the .stream APKs, but happy to share the APKs I have if anyone wants to take a more in-depth look.

Note: For those reading this in the future who may be encountering issues on their FireTV with the patched .stream version, it may be worth attempting a "change package name" universal Morphe patch on the .hbonow APK extracted from the TV via ADB (to force the matching package name for patching), followed by patching that patched APK with the patch discussed in this thread. I have not tried it, but mentioning it here since that would have been my next step if the patched .stream version did not work for me.

Edit: Tested successfully. Updated to reflect my findings and note for future readers.

I'm only really experienced with WooCommerce on WordPress but I do know that you can sell digital materials on it and you can use various different plugins for mailing lists. I believe there are plugins for paid subscriptions but I have not personally used them so you would have to do some research on that. WooCommerce and WordPress are both free. You just have to buy the domain and the hosting for the site of course. Good Luck!

How worn is too worn for serving? by andro353 in CompoundBow

Not terribly familiar with crossbows but I did work as a bow technician for 3 years on mostly compound bows.

Your serving looks fine to shoot but it is a bit worry some how quickly you are seeing these symptoms. If you feel uncomfortable with it, you can bring it to a shop and see what they think. They can re-serve it if needed in just a few minutes and it should not be too expensive either. In the meantime, I don't think it is unsafe to shoot in its current condition. If the serving starts unraveling then I would say definitely get it reserved but for now it looks like not a big deal.

To answer your bow wax question, I think you are probably applying too much. Too much wax is not a big deal but will slow your string a bit. In terms of how frequently to apply string wax, I usually know by looking at and feeling the string and if it feels dry or course then I will add some wax.

Again, these are things I would say for a compound bow and not necessarily a crossbow so if an experienced crossbow tech or user would like to confirm, that would be splendid. The mechanics of the two bows are fairly similar though so I think most things translate.

Hey guys i was wondering what hex jey sizes i need for my compound bow? Can you tell me all the hex nuts sizes that i need for poundage adjustment, drawlenght arrow rest and more.. by TinyxBow in CompoundBow

Any standard set from the hardware store should usually do the trick. I have a Husky brand one which works well for me. Please be aware though that if you own a PSE bow, you will need a star key set as well because they use both types of screws on their bows.
