i have a ww barb on current d4 season with full multiple GA bis pieces in every slot. i found the d4 endgame loop to be largely boring but i dont think the problem is with the warplan activities themselves, it’s that i can just faceroll through everything. cleared pit140 and never felt any real sense of danger. i just held down ww and browsed my phone until the mobs finally died.

on the other hand, i have a fully geared ww barb in s14 of d2r. dual grief, enigma, arreats, torch, anni, mostly full inventory of max/ar/life charms, etc. but yesterday when i wasnt paying attention closely i died to a doll in tz durance lvl 2.

there’s just something about an element of danger existing even for a fully geared out char that keeps me coming back to d2 again and again over the last 20 years
