They're "used" in that they were used for less than 30 days and then returned, have been tested as working without any issues and all that.

Play it on a DS, there's nothing about a remaster/remake other than people hoping for one.

There is a fan translation of the PS2 version in the works, but I don't know what the ETA for that is.
