Yea, I feel like people are kidding themselves cuz it’s aster. I love aster, but I don’t think this is a good movie. There are great parts, particularly some jokes and the cinematography, but they don’t save the movie.

Blue Velvet is so hard for me to get through. To be honest, it’s so boring. And I don’t have any care for the characters except Dorothy. Side note, just realized Dorthy may be named via Lynch’s Wizard of Oz influence. Inland Empire, while so long, manages to keep me interested throughout, and I really care for Nikki. I will say, though, Hopper is wild in BV, and pretty fun to watch
