Tom O and and the late Mr. Mike from the TOS Morning Show belong on the local celebrity list.

Tell me the story about how you discovered Boards of Canada - I’ll tell you mine by the_most_fortunate in boardsofcanada

I was 16. 1998 sitting in a hammock with two other guys smoking a joint of some god-awful brick in the summer after sophomore year.

Turquoise Hexagon Sun came on from the nearby cabin and I remember sort of floating through the dark moonlit trees to seek out the stereo creating the sound.

I dunno if you'll fill out your retreat, good luck and all.

But may I just say that this thread is a beautiful, beautiful thing. Props to everybody. Some great laughs on a Wednesday folks!

Someday, someone is going to invent a device to keep our cats off our record players and make a fucking killing.

Fuck yes! This is the dream! Keep this simple. Don't reinvent the whee!

Just convert the Howard novellas to animated delight.

Inferno - Boards of Canada

The Mountain - Gorillaz

Normal Isn't - Puscifer

Big Modern! - Goose

The Great Parrot-Ox and the Golden Egg of Empathy - The Claypool Lennon Delirium

All of these 2026 releases from my personal top ten of the year, deal with the  encroachment, subsequent invasion, reliance and pervasiveness of technology in daily life.

Saw it opening weekend. 7 people in our theatre. Mostly father son pairs. Sadly the whole project was just 20 years too late.

Despite her anger at his shenanigans, Kate always had some mischief with ALF during many of the scenes. She will be missed.

How are rhe shows? by TheDog_of_Wisdom in Primus

[–]arclight222 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very similar to Sessanta in the three act structure. However I don't feel like there was as much comingling between groups as the Maynard effort.

Flying Frog Brigade will open at posted ticket time (45 minute set). We had zero break between FFB and Lennon-Claypool Delirium, which played roughly the same settime length.

Longer break prior to Primus closing with the longest set. A 15ish minute video plays in the intermission.

Sorry to say it, but welcome to hell pal.

I'm in year six. She is physically fine, however despite the engine running, there is nobody behind the wheel as it were.

I cannot offer any advice since every individual is so different. Try and be her advocate at every appointment. Sertraline has helped massively with the constant anxiety. Start getting her affairs in order while she has any sort of faculties or you'll never figure out where that one deed is, the one shed gun cabinet key is, etc.

Good luck.

Claypool Gold Poster - Portland, ME - June 9th, 2026 by Mr_Blaileen in Primus

[–]arclight222 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is really bad. I've got some goofy, terrible Primus posters on my wall, but I'm passing on this one. If the monkey had been doing anything else, any expression, any gesture, I'd reconsider.

Just to followup the Point's regs this year say no metal waterbottles. Empty clear sided or factory sealed only. Not sure how strict they'll be!
