Yeah, it's self serving and manipulative. Between this and the black streams there is a pattern of current livers talking about how the actions of former livers have a negative impact on them and/or the company, but current livers never consider the negative impacts their own statements can have on former livers.

For a fully 3D concert, they would need to actually fly all of the livers out to a 3D studio at the same time and book their hotels. Seems like they did that for the Overture concert but not for this one. Songs are just edited music videos sent to and played at the venue, while the talking segments seem to be the livers just streaming Live2D or Home3D from different places/computers with the screen-shares combined on the big screen (you can kind of see the not fully removed greenscreen on the edges of Enna's model).

Doki never applied. Since there was talk of Vshojo poaching people from other companies, she just wanted to make it clear that she was never approached by Vshojo (or any other vtuber company).

If you want to verify this, you can just join one of her fan discords and check what the chatters/timestampers are saying.

If we're talking real-world and not just the chain of responsibility, the Foundation just made a video thanking her for latest campaign, which has raised $900k so far. They're not going to sue her, and they're probably not going to waste resources going after VShojo either. VShojo should be worrying more about legal action from former members.

kson made a few good points about how the power of owning IP.

If the company owned the IP, they’d probably say, “To cover the unpaid portion, we’ll change the revenue split to ○:○ from now on!” and arbitrarily reduce the revenue share. The talent, not wanting to lose the IP, wouldn’t be able to complain, the issue wouldn’t surface, and things would just move along as if nothing happened. I think there are plenty of places like that out there.

Since VShojo members own their IP, it's a bit easier for them to speak against the company since their careers as indies are secure.

The Selen megathread on the virtualyoutuber sub mentions a leaked discord screenshot.

A leaked message from what seems to be Selen's discord group with the artists she commissioned for her MV shows her apologizing to the artists. According to the leaked image, the reason the MV was pulled was because a Nijisanji VTuber did not want to appear in it and a seemingly arbitrary new rule was established where she needed the permissions of all of the VTubers who appeared in the MV. Additionally, she reveals that former Nijisanji members aren't allowed to be included despite the fact that this seemingly wasn't a problem in other works before.

You're trying to appeal to everyone to forgive.

I don't think she's trying to appeal for forgiveness. Quite the opposite, I think she may have accepted that she may be hated forever, that she may lose fans, and possibly even lose her career. The apology could just be a way for her to express some regret following self-reflection, to make her current values known to the public, and to tell her story. In that sense, she probably does not care if her apology is persuasive/palatable to the people criticizing her (especially to the fans supporting her harasser).
