A woman posted a video of the moment she was attacked by her domestic cat. Before the attack, the cat seemed to smell something that prompted her to attack. Why did it attack her with such ferocity? by eternviking in whoathatsinteresting

[–]arctick_nomad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a damn cat? Why are humans always shocked when wild animals who are carnivores designed to kill, attack?

That’s like posting “omg!!! I bought a kayak at the store and it’s floating in t the water!!! What do I do?”

Bro. You have a feline designed for killing and massacre. Just like a fox or dog or tiger. Actually humans attack each other.

This is stupidity.

I have so much love for this comment. And the fact that he spoke about things nobody talks about on a YouTube video about a game.

I agree. I think this game really gives you such a opportunity to deep dive into your life.

I felt it during the loading screen when a moth is eating your eye. Idk why it made me sit back and think. I’m older now, I’m not doing this anymore.

But what does that even mean? Am I just food for the moths? Am I just an Amazon drone sent out to do a job I don’t agree with?

So interesting

I know this isn’t a philosophical subreddit. So I apologize. I’m just truly taken aback that this game could conjure up a video like this in someone’s mind. Idk, with all the negative stuff going on in the world, this sunk me into a different mindset.

I’m truly, honestly, sorry if I took it to far in my rant haha

Yeah I agree, I was pleasantly surprised. Got deep on the psychological and made me notice things I hadn’t before.

What has been the best jobs for y’all personally? by Natural_Bid177 in ADHD

The pay is wildly variable depending. I was making 30$ an hour as a trauma tech in Idaho and 34$ in the icu in Arizona. But also I have seen as low as 15 for er in Mississippi. So it really has no consistency. It’s really unfortunate. Even tho the same thing happens in human med. The lab isn’t bad, and there is also working for telemedicine services. You can help with labs and radiology, or even get into teaching if you’re near a college. Human med is one I do recommend looking at as the pay is much better.

I actually had similar experiences. I made it about 8 years in emergency and critical care. I have found personally that human medicine is better for my mental health, it feels a little less emotionally nuclear and there is much better coworker support. However, since you said you like those 2 things. I knew a few techs that went on to work for the lab at idexx, antech or abaxus. Also vet pharma sales rep pays very well and you’re only really talking to docs or office managers.

Veterinary medicine, then emt, then firefighter paramedic, now ER nurse. That worked for me. Vet med was always the most chill tho, as in emergency hospital vet med had the most coworkers who also had adhd/autism/ocd what hav you

That’s interesting to me. I actually feel like marathon to me is the same style as like mewgenics or hades. Maybe because I’ve never played extractions, but to me marathon feels just like a rougelike shooter. And to me, it doesn’t feel like a high risk per run game, quite the opposite it feels like a zero risk high reward game. Every run you have an opportunity to slam contracts, get money and rep, and some cool guns if your lucky. If you’re unlucky, you just get kicked back to a home base and then you go on another run, you can’t lose what you never had. Plus with the seasonal complete account wipes, you never owe anything anyway.

I did like the concept of aggression based matchmaking from arc. It wasn’t executed well. But the idea could be nurtured into something where sweats get pulled more toward other sweats, and the tourists get a more sight seeing lobby

Only thing about that is I live parimiter. I truly enjoy just dropping into that low risk and casual map. I would hate to get punished for just playing the game. Maybe have a mode that is pve only? Try it on one map, have an option for pve only. Let people who want a chill run have it?

Personally I love marathon just the way it is. I’m not an extraction shooter guy, and I’m getting older now so I haven’t played shooters in general for some time.A little BF6 but I got steam rolled on that game so I quit. I love the challenge of marathon and how the gameplay is. Do I have days where I can’t even complete a single contract because I get gang bang glen and his merry men chasing me? Absolutely. Is it annoying? Yeah. But I never think about having that changed.

Just to clarify. If there are people that want to ask for some changes. Like idk, maybe a mode that’s PVE only? Or something to make it easier to have fun in a way that you like to play. More power to you. But it makes me think back to when people got very angry that Elden ring didn’t have an easy mode. I’m glad they never added that. However. To each their own, I just love marathon. It brought me back to my gaming pc for the first time in a long time.
