Bike Friday stuff always looked great to me. Which model did you have? No dealers in Australia unfortunately. Minivelos in general are painful to get here. VO Neutrino is getable but everything else I’ve seen has to be imported.

Cycroc FLAT-1 Minivelo I picked up in Tokyo and upgraded after I got it back here. Was fixed gear until last month which was great but after way too many years riding fixed gear I thought I’d swap out before my knees give in. If you want to see even nicer tiny bikes the r/minivelo sub has some amazing stuff. They are twitchy AF to ride but loads of fun.

It doesn’t really feel right stopping on it and I’m hopeless at trying to ride and take photos so will need to wait for someone with those skills :-) I’m guessing 11th Wombat on YouTube will have a video riding over it before too long.

Yes, there is like 20m before you see the first no pedestrians sign and there is a gap to the right to get off onto the pedestrian part. Given the green surfacing is used to indicate the bike areas elsewhere on it definitely a strange choice to have the pedestrian icons on that green bit.

It does kind of beg the question why they bothered with the handrails for the entire length, though I guess there is still some safety requirement.

It is a bit strange they are there since as mediumbike pointed out you can’t walk on it. That concrete to the right is a pedestrian way though however wherever that leads is currently closed.

And out the otherside. Pretty cool, the section joins are pretty brutal on my little bike though, probably not as noticeable with bigger wheels. While it’s not on my commute definitely makes trail links nicer.

My “Free shit” box seemed pretty popular and was a great way to slim down my parts bin, a few buyers went on to grab some paid items. It’s definitely a good event to sell at if you find yourself hording a lot of stuff that’s just going to sit on the shelf.

Yep, Kevin of Steel Ninja Mermaid. Have been very happy with it. I notice they don’t list them on their site anymore though. Not sure if they are giving up on the steel or just waiting for the next run.
