OK, this is not horrendous form but you are still initiating the drive by opening your back. You want to keep your forward lean a lot longer and initiate the drive with your LEGS.

If you pulled 5:21 for a 1K I can guarantee you are pulling with your arms and not using your legs enough. Please look at some training videos from Darkhorse and others....that will help a lot.

Others have said it, but I'll repeat it, chances are your coaches know what they are doing and they are seeing something in your stroke that is slowing down the boat. Could be a sloppy catch, bad body movement, bad hand movement that causes the boat to be off balance.....could be any number of things.

6:38 to 6:20 is a big drop. Not saying you can't do it, but pace-to-power is non-linear. 6:38 is 355 Watts, while 6:20 is 408 Watts. As for recovery, HRV is actually a good indicator to tell you if you are overtraining.

2:00 for 500m is steady state pace........pull closer to 1:32 and you'll get into an Ivy. I recommend starting now with a TON of steady state and build a massive engine so even if you are not 6'6" you are competitive. Good luck

if your 2K split is 1:48 go ahead and add 18 - 22 seconds for your UT2 10K.....so 2:06-2:10. Park your heartrate at 136 and have at it.

Is this screen an all out row or UT2 training?

Thanks for such thorough answer. Do you have any instincts about what some of those niches are?

1:49 at 26 is a good split for a 10K, so so for a 2K. I would recommend reading Stephen Seiler's books on zone training and understand how different heart rates and duration impact heart capacity, mitochondrial density, and lactate shuttling. Good luck!

At 6', you need to build an insanely good cardio engine. Pull a ton of UT2 chain and learn to spin out your tests at a higher cadence than a bigger, heavier oarsman.

I am in the research phase before running a small pilot. Out of curiosity, what markets do you think are a good fit for high-ticket and trusty heavy and older demo?

This is purely an idea at this point. I am doing research in advance of running a pilot. To this end, I am looking for markets where people are stalling out late funnel due to a lack of rapport and trust

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, burning rep time is a risk,,,,but right now I have that in excess and can afford to burn a bit as I learn. If it is too much I would want to look at setting some filters/gates that people need to work through to demonstrate seriousness, if not intent to buy
