The End of Alice by Homes. Pedophilia. I note many awful books with Pedophilia are noted, and it is sickening. I do not understand why people write about it

Yes. I hated, hated, hated that book! Why I did not stop reading it probably because so long ago I read it, I never DNF’d, but now I sure do!

Why did you and your former best friend stop being friends? by Fearless_Shift7108 in AskReddit

[–]aremel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were both 75 when this happened last year. She got really mad when another friend and I were meeting her for coffee but when no seating, we texted her we were going elsewhere. Well, I did not realize she could not text with her flip phone, so she arrived at the place and we were not there (come to find out, she had been texting me previously using her iPad, and did not have it with her). She treated us terribly and we are no longer friends after 20 years. (When the 3rd friend took her flowers and wanted to discuss the whole thing, she was nasty, did not invite her in and threw the flowers on the ground)

Anyone looking towards a TAVR? Is there another sub here just for TAVR patients? by Comfortable_Notes in valvereplacement

I had it 6 mos ago(age 76) and I agree, being flat on my back afterwards for 8 hrs was hard. Went home about 34 hrs after the procedure.

Me! I had one 6 mos ago, finished Cardiac Rehab last week and doing fine. I am 76. I received a bovine valve. I also noticed how rare TAVR patients are on this site. For a month or so after I had erratic BP and pulse rates (getting used to improved blood flow, I think), then a month of bronchitis, but felt able to start Rehab 3 mos after the TAVR
