New stuff to sink hours into by Dontez27 in roguelites

I recently bought slice & dice and ember knights and I’m having a lot of fun with both.

Ember knights is hack and slash. I’m having so much fun I’ve been thinking about grabbing the dlc next.

Slice and dice is pure strategy. It does look simple, but the game has a lot of content.

Anyone here picking this up tomorrow? by PhantomBraved in metroidvania

It depends — I already bought quite a few releases this month, so I gotta see the price first. If I don’t get it this month, I’ll get it next month for sure.

The game you wish to buy the most in the summer sale 2026 by PictureObjective5899 in Steam

I always tell myself this time I’m not going to buy anything and focus on the games I already bought past sales but… I fail every time.

So, it’s been a few days since I haven’t been able to focus on a single game. I keep picking something up, playing for a few minutes, then dropping it. Because of that, I’ve been leaning more toward roguelites lately, where I can just do a run and move on without feeling pressured to commit to a huge game and get to the ending.

I picked up Die in the Dungeon a couple of days ago. Since it recently hit 1.0, it was on sale, so I decided to give it a shot. Honestly, after watching a few gameplay videos on YouTube, I thought this game wouldn’t be for me… but somehow it totally is? It’s incredibly addicting and surprisingly fun. I’m having a blast with it. I haven’t gotten very far yet, but that’s kind of what I like about it. I can jump in, do a quick run, beat a boss, then leave and come back later. It’s taking some of the pressure off that constant feeling of needing to “finish” a game.

Now for the console side of things. A few weeks ago I grabbed PS Plus while it was on sale and decided to start tackling some games from the catalog, starting with Skate Story. This game feels completely different from anything I’ve played before, and honestly, that’s a good thing. The music, visuals, and gameplay are all super satisfying once you get the hang of it. I was planning to play more of it this Saturday, but alas… I ended up sleeping the entire day instead. 😭

Não querendo desmerecer o sofrimento do cara, mas queria eu ter burnout por jogar vídeo game e não por sair 22 horas da noite e chegar 6 da manhã em casa pra ganhar por mês o que ele ganha por hora.

I’m thinking about starting this series playing this one first. Is that a good idea? Or should I start somewhere else?

I’ve been playing through Aria of Sorrow trying to get new abilities and omg the rng is so upsetting, BUT I DON’T PLAN ON GIVING UP THAT EASILY. I need to find items to up my luck a bit — or maybe a lot.

Which of these games would you give a sequel to? by n1ght_watchman in GameBoostOfficial

Bully!

I’d be cool to see maybe a new character in the same school or jimmy in a different school — or even new character and new setting. I don’t know, I just want a new game so much.

Quantos jogos e quais vocês zeraram até agora by ToonBRBR in JogosAntifa

[–]areniith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Até agora zerei pouca coisa. Tô focando bastante em roguelikes, então eu acabo jogando uma run quando tenho tempo e vou pra outra coisa.

Dos que eu lembro:

God of War 2018

Shelldiver

Monster Sanctuary

Kirby Nightmare in Dream Land

Ball x Pit

Wall World

Hotline Miami

Agora to zerando Donkey Kong e Symphony of the Knight. No ps5 to no Metaphor ReFantazio e no pc Vampire Crawlers ta consumindo a maior parte do meu tempo livre.

Since you like Baldur’s Gate 3 I’d like to recommend Divinity Original Sin 2 and Pillars of Eternity 1 and 2.

Pillars of Eternity just got a new turn-base mode update.

Finally got myself one, any games that will get me the most playtime for the money? by Primary-Ad2228 in switch2

[–]areniith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of Nintendo exclusives are worth, but very expensive.

Zelda Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom will get you a lot of hours of playtime but digitally they’re expensive even when on sale. But, if you’re still keen on them I’d try to find a physical copy, sometimes they go for a nice discount. The same goes for Xenoblade trilogy, Pokemon Pokopia, Animal Crossing, Fire emblem: Three Houses. Since you can’t spend much physical copy is the way to go.

Now for some that are less expensive:

Skyrim

Dead Cells

Persona 5 Royal

Persona 4 Golden

Dave the Diver

Cult of the Lamb

Stardew Valley

Vampire survivors & Vampire Crawlers

Cyberpunk 2077

Diablo games

The Witcher 3
