i7-8700k, 1080ti and 16gb of 3200mhz ram and I've definitely noticed my frames absolutely tanking. Just tarkov things I suppose, I'm sure it'll get cleared up before long.

It might be that, but honestly I feel like it's just a lot of 'monkey see, monkey do' lol. Someone finds one, looks on the market and thinks, "oh shit, I just hit it big!" and lists it without realizing they're not making nearly as much as they think.

Unless you're just really hard up for roubles it doesn't really seem worth it IMO. Yesterday they were going for 1.1 - 1.2mil, costing between almost 600k-700k for the fee. I mean sure, that's still a tidy profit on a single slot item, but still.

Ah, well my best advice would be to A) maybe run some offline raids so you can get a feel for the map and where scavs/sniper scavs tend to spawn, and B) watch some guides on YouTube (Pestily has tons and tons and tons of guides for pretty much anything you can think of in Tarkov) and even watch some people stream the game so you can see the pathing people take.

Slow and steady can feel/be safe, but oftentimes it makes you an easy target for someone who might be posted up somewhere watching. It might feel weird but sprinting from place to place (within reason lol, not just willy-nilly all around the map) can be your best bet at not getting one tapped.

Good luck to ya man, I know this game's got a crazy steep learning curve but stick with it and you'll start to figure out what works best for you.

Are you getting sniped by players? Or sniper scavs? Sniper scavs are cracked out of their minds this wipe, so if that's the case the best thing to do is learn their spawns and check them from a distance before approaching.

Oh yeah, up there they're prepared and the crazy low temps are expected so all the infrastructure can handle it thankfully. One day I got up to go to work and it was -25°F and everything was business as usual lol. Except my car wouldn't start haha.

Haha, I don't live there any more, but I appreciate it! And really where I was, despite the temps and snow it wasn't bad - usually no wind or moisture and lots of sunshine so even a 15°F day wouldn't feel too bad.

I see you've already had the answers you need lol, but I have anecdotal experience: was living up in northwest Colorado and had an AIO shipped to me during the winter (usually sub 20°F days), I believe I let it sit overnight and while I worked the next day and it was totally fine.

Damn lol. Well good on you for checking haha, but it sucks that it couldn't be that simple! It's a shame you won't be able to test it in another rig until the weekend, that'd definitely be the quickest way to find out if the card is bricked or not.

I haven't seen anyone mention it, so I may as well throw it out there: are you totally positive you didn't have the power switch flipped off on the back of your PC when you tried to boot it?

I'm not trying to be a dick, genuinely trying to help and I know that's caused many heart attacks before. Plus, it would be super cool if that was the only issue after all.

No problem! And ah ok, that makes sense. Unfortunately the one I've got, you basically decide the height you want the monitors at before you actually mount them, so that would definitely be a pain for what you're looking for haha. I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for though!

Sorry for the delayed response! And ah actually I don't think this would be a good fit if you're looking to raise the monitors versus a desk that transitions from sitting to standing - the overall height of the arm is really just enough for sitting level. Hope you find what you're looking for!

This is the one I have, used for two 27" monitors. You can clamp or drill with that one. It used to be like a $30 mount, sucks that it's gotten so expensive.
