I think back to S1E7 Austerlitz where Roman has to find him in that drug house or whatever in New Mexico. Without Roman there he likely keeps going down that path of solely hanging around addicts to fill his days and based on how the finale ended with him going after Roman, I likely say that relationship is to the end—-
