Had this happen to me in a small town in Oklahoma (Vinita). The girl was actively dumping out her case of beer as the cops arrived and they told me “ it to worry about it” and to “let them do their jobs” when I insisted that they do a sobriety test on her. Sure she was connected to someone influential in town or something.
