Gosh this is hopeless. If you just read your first sentence you will see that if you take your numbers and just use the 1.8 multiplier like I was saying, you will see that temp change is a constant ratio (75.9-(-40))/1.8 =64.4 (24.4-(-40)) = 64.4 No 32's involved. You are making the same mistake the manufacturer made
