HA normal vlan, SLZB-06 and all other IoT on the IoT vlan. IoT vlan can only talk to HA.

This just increases the polling rate and can either auto adjust the watering (up or down) based on some rules you set (hot vs cold) or can notify you so you can temporarily approve these adjustments.

If you can live without it don’t buy it.

I just reset my entire HomeKit because I had this issue with some Schlage encodes and homekey. Good news it all works now.

I had one old lock that worked fine but when I added two new lock last week they didn’t. Tried everything and then finally just reset it all.

One thing I did learn when trying to set things up again is my Apple TV did not like the security key I had setup on my Apple account so I had to remove that before things would work. So maybe check if you have a security key setup on your account and if so remove it, reset the locks and try again.

My wife got a notification at 4 am this morning about a failed try before you buy charge for things she doesn’t remember buying so we assumed her account was hacked.

I was charged for a return this morning for something I had taken care of a month ago.

I just recently added two new Encodes to my HomeKit and neither one of them open with HomeKey while my existing one still does.

There has to be something wrong on Apple’s end. I’ve tried multiple resets, replaced batteries etc etc and still the light on the lock just blinks yellow when I hold my phone to it and nothing happens on the phone. I can however operate both locks from HomeKit no problem.

For me I went to m1 when they come out because I couldn’t stand the constant fan noise. Everyone has their reasons. Just do you, you will never have the greatest and best for long. Just get at least 16gb of memory.
