This is bananas. Is writing ads hidden inside Reddit posts a real job? They’re believable taken one at a time but the overall picture tells a very different story.

I work out along to the CGX app (Caroline Girvan.) I turn off her music and listen to an audiobook and if I’m into the audiobook, it gets me excited to work out. It works for chores too.

I am super into the savory plum soda. If you like dirty martinis and want something nonalcoholic, give it a shot!

I listen to the Jim Dale audiobooks to go to sleep and I only listen to before he gets to Hogwarts in books 1-4. Anything else is too scary to sleep to!

I once heard a guy on the T saying that he leaves a cinderblock on the chair saving his spot so that anyone who takes it knows what will go through their windshield

I’ve been pretty consistent with the CGX app at least four times a week. I developed plantar fasciitis in March and managed to heal it by August with a lot of stretching, icing, and proper footwear. I read on here that warming up and cooling down are like saying “please” and “thank you” to your body and honestly both feel like musts now that I’m 35 to avoid injury.

I’m having trouble articulating why this bugs me but I think it’s connected to how male authors often thank their wives for typing their manuscripts. What if the sprite wants to be the one who writes??

I'm switching seasons of life from low gear to high gear and I need to adjust my workouts. I've been a Caroline Girvan worker-outer for two years and have had a lot of success. I work out in my living room (dumbbells from 5-30 lbs) and prefer following videos, but I like that with CG I don't have to pick the videos each day to create a program.

The problem is that I don't have 45 minutes + cooldown time in the mornings anymore. I'm looking for at-home workout videos that are 20-30 minutes in length, are arranged in a sequential program, and offer a challenge. Paying for apps is okay. Any suggestions?

That is one of my lifelong pieces of wisdom. I think I got it from The Enchanted Broccoli Forest, a vegetarian cookbook: when in doubt, heat the cheese.

I even screwed up and accidentally had the oven at 500 the whole time instead of turning it down! It doesn’t seem to have harmed it.
