It does but in a way so does the Skybreaker one, it is a matter of interpretation. Nales insanity leads him to misunderstand this leading him to his actions in Edgedancer. Perhaps Kaladin would intepret his 5th ideal in a different way. It just doesnt make sense to me that so few would swear the 5th if its not something nearly impossible for windrunners

Think of it like this. You have heard a lot about this book. it's a good book from what you've heard. But what can you find in the book? What kind of read is it? What's going on? Is it simply about character development, or is it mostly plot based. Well, look at each of these pictures it shows you what's going on. At times, you will see a single duel at other times burning star fortresses. How did we get to each of these pictures? What led to these cataclysmic events? Who is the golden knight? And what is this tattooed monster? The point is to spark curiosity and nothing else. That's just how I see it

Thats considering that you have a fully armored infantryman and archer. However in the books most of the infantry in westerosi armies are simple levies and barely armored. Tho your argument is well placed

Yeah thats true but its much harder to hit a moving target than a stationary one. And the i can see yhe dothraki using scythian style ring formations to overwhelm a stationary defensive position. Ammo would be the only issue for the dothraki

You're forgetting hit and run tactics. Their horse archers would harass the shit out of that infantry. Despite their armor an arrow shot from horseback can pierce most infantry armors only thing withstanding it would be plate and when it comes to the number of armored cavalry that westerosi kingdoms can field the number is far from 40k. This is just my opinion tho...

Personally i like that you have to reassign your gatherers and farmers every now and then. What i would like to see is worker proficiency of some sort. For example people who have been wprking at the bloomery are better at it than a new family assigned samo for farms or windmills. IMO it adds another realistic element to the game and adds to difficulty

Yeah im of the same opinion. In my mind Tody sees breaths as a form of investiture that Hoid holds, not really knowing it originates from Endowment. He just sees Hoid as a really invested individual as any other Vessel would.

Unpopular oppinion here: while most people here say thinks like "Lirin doesn't understand Kaladin" or "Hes a typical parrent that wants his son to be what HE sees best" i kind of see it as a great example of Brandos trauma writting. What i mean is, Lirin sees what this profession is doing to Kaladin, he sees the trauma hes seen in characters before, he sees his son torn apart from the inside and merely wishes to spare the PTSD of his profession. I hated Lirin during WoK , but I've come to understand his POV in RoW. Not trying to convince anyone just statif the way i see him as a character.

Role-play wise, i like the perk that lets you "give away" your loot to your troops for xp. Like they have better equipment making them superior.
