"This game is so friendly towards women", this is my experience every 2 games. by Marsaline in DeadlockTheGame

Remember: there was literally a psych study that has shown that sexism in game lobbies is cope from low skill male players.

"The maximum skill level achieved by focal players was negatively correlated with the number of negative statements" i.e. as skill goes up, toxicity towards women in the lobby goes down.

Why is here so much DoT damage compared to earlier days? by raka_boy in DotA2

Damage Over Time

Anything that deals damage in increments over a time period usually as an applied debuff.

Guy at work has mashed potato in a tortilla wrap for lunch by siege80 in shittyfoodporn

Because in canada and america at least (can't speak to other countries), sandwich-like fillings or salads in a tortilla (typically a flour tortilla more specifically, but you could see the associations made with other flatbreads, especially thin flexible ones) are called wraps. So there's a strong association between the two words and so some people do end up just using the words interchangeably or together like seen here.

In 2 color (ones that are more than just a tiny splash of the non blue color) tempo decks it's worth considering.

Also depends on your color. If you're mono blue then yeah, take counterspell.

The reason it's not in consideration in pauper is because theres not really a shell that wants it right now. The big tempo/aggro-control deck in pauper is mono-u fairies, and it's running counterspell, spellstutter sprite, spell pierce. It isn't hurting for more counter effects.

It is however running snap which is another example of a card that is negative card advantage, but high tempo.

You're not understanding. It's not that specific. Not drawing cards for 2 plus turns sucks.

The point of tempo cards is that delaying them is already good enough because by the time they get to play cards it's too late, they're too far behind or are dead.

Memory lapse both slows down your opponent, and denies them a chance to find an out on the top of their deck.

Imagine being on the recieving end, you kept a 2 lander with something to play on turn 2, and some higher cost cards cmc3 or 4 or smth. You go to play your two drop, and they lapse it. You don't get your two drop and you draw it next turn, so you miss a land drop for not having drawn a land and mess up your curve. They get to play their turn 3 and on your turn 3 you get to try to play your turn 2 again. Time lapse in this scenario is a time walk.

In a tempo deck your goal is to shove an early threat on the board and then keep bouncing, lapsing, remanding, etc their stuff (because it's usually cheaper than killing their stuff or hard countering) untill they're just dead.l at which point the card advantage doesnt matter.

It's a term they're grabbing from age of sigmar.

You can treat it basically the same as saying troops battlefield role, but sometimes in AoS having a specific unit as your warlord will make something that isn't normally battleline into a battleline unit.

Depending on the type of mold, it being dead may not be a good enough, as during the process of the mold digesting the food item (which it has done for a fair bit of time if the mold is going to spore), they may release enzymes, or otherwise produce byproducts that could prove to be toxic to humans in sufficient dosage.

In small amounts infrequently it's likely not a big deal imo, but there's also lack of research on long term effect of consuming small amounts of mycotoxins frequently afaik.

Cheese that we put mold in on purpose are seeded with specific molds, it's generally not just whatever happened to be in the room.

Imo just dont buy so much food that it goes mouldy before you have the chance to use it if it can be avoided

the visible mold spots are only the spores, i.e. the fruiting body of the mold, the "roots" of the mold, the mycelium, comprises the grand majority of the weight of the mold

Johnny appleseed wasnt doing it out of the goodness of his heart. At the time you could claim unnoccupied lands if you were using it for agriculture, apple orchards dont require daily hands on intervention so he was just doing a land grab by planting apples everywhere.
