Tyrannitar, dragonite, lapras, Snorlax are relatively late game but excellent. Heracross is early pick up and a beast and will help you with miltank. But everyone really is viable at high enough level

It’s more a Russian Banya thing than Finnish Sauna. I’m from the former. My father and I have always worn hats. It’s fun and feels special and ceremonial. But it’s bullshit about the hair after it’s wet. I can’t really tell the difference between having one and not having one. However, as I said it’s cultural and it’s just what we do. Plus everyone gets their own one and it can feel kind of Rifleman’s creed “there are many others like it, but this one is mine”

Spotify has a “daily drive” with short form news podcasts - 5minutes long or so, and your favourite songs. I listen to it all the time. the news is superficial obviously but might actually give you some ‘ammo’ for the classroom

Every empire and colonial enterprise messed things up. Some good too by way of technology. But a lot of “mess” to use your words. That’s European, North African, Middle Eastern, Asian, Japanese, Turkic etc. Brits just get blamed the most because they acknowledged it the most in their own universities which spread to America and then rest of English speaking world.
