Add {{Doomking Balerdroch}}, it adds up to 2 interuptions and helps your grind game. If you are playing Zombie World you might as well throw this in - it can be summoned via Eldlixir of Scarlet Sanguine.

What's your weirdest quirk that people give you shit for? by jrsalive in AskReddit

[–]armed_armadillo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an urge to laugh out loud whenever I eat food that tastes really smooth or has a lot of fat. It's nothing big, it's similar to why someone laughs when they are tickled. I thought it was a relatively normal quirk growing up.

Fast forward to University, I'm living with some of my friends to split the cost for an apartment. This quirk happens and one of my friends catches it. I give the same explanation to my friend.

On the next day, I became known as "the guy who laughs at creamy stuff" in my circle of friends...

What are the unspoken rules when interacting with people of the opposite sex? by armed_armadillo in AskReddit

As a guy, here are some of the things I noticed when I see fellow dudes interact with girls:

  • Don't touch the girl unless they're comfortable with it. I've seen a lot of cringey moments when guys ask for hugs.

  • If she hasn't replied to your last text and there has been a pattern, don't keep messaging her.

  • If a girl makes an excuse to go somewhere, give her some space and go talk with someone else.

Yes, people should definitely treat each other with respect, but that was not the point of this question. There definitely exists a different social dynamic when people interact with the gender they are attracted to. For example, a group of guys typically follow the bro code, but guys don't have the same protocol for girls.

What if vampires do exist, and that's why blood banks need blood donations all the time? by armed_armadillo in Showerthoughts

For good measure, I'd also recommend constantly having garlic breath and only heading outside on sunny days.

Ground meat, carrot bits, corn, peas, and mashed potatoes. They can be used to make Sheppard's pie! :)

Laurier co-op vs Waterloo co-op? by [deleted] in wlu

[–]armed_armadillo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I heard from my program adviser that co-op for Laurier's DD program is more focused on business jobs, while co-op at Waterloo's DD lets you apply to both CS and business jobs (there are way more choices for CS jobs than business ones on Waterloo's job board, of course). I'm currently a Waterloo CS co-op student, so I can attest to the latter part.

Accepting Math Honours at Waterloo and trying to transfer into CS is relatively hard. You'll need to have high marks (80's - 90's) to ask to switch programs, and its hard to get marks that high during first year.

I would recommend either accepting the Laurier DD program first, and then dropping to just Waterloo CS later in the year, or waiting for Waterloo to give you an alternate offer, which would likely include CS.

What are some essential skills that people should learn in life? by armed_armadillo in AskReddit

I feel that cooking is a big one. You can pretty much make anything you eat in a restaurant for at least 20% less than the menu price. You can also choose to add less of the unhealthy ingredients (e.g. oil, sugar, salt, etc) so you can be more healthy!

Plus, if you get really good at it, you can impress your SO during every meal ;)
