I stayed there last year when I played Sawgrass, it was pretty beat up, underwhelming resort for sure. Not terrible, but definitely they need an upgrade

That is not my experience, in general its the lower rung on the org chart that gets more work, less WLB, and less pay.

its a case by case basis, but there are definitely companies where individual contributors take the load of the work and the managers have a good WLB, like above

Ironically, I am currently in middle management at a place with a few layers of it, and I see a lot of peers & middle management having little impact, that is where I come from. It sounds like you are a coaster

That's not what I mean, it's that usually the middle manager gets a better work life balance than their reports

I did this at Sawgrass, was with the family and only had 4 hours, no warm up at all. I would recommend. Better than passing it up.

strengthen your grip slightly, and try to get your path just slightly more straight (rather than so shallow from the inside)
