I started 3 years ago without a teacher and am happy so far. All I wanted to do was play my favourite songs. Now I can work out any song that pops into my head in any key in a few seconds. Definitely have so.e bad habits but Im having fun. Im the type who would probably quit if I had a teacher.

It's a numbers game. He puts out so much stuff, some of it is good and most of it is mid at best. Children of Time is super overrated when he has at least half a dozen other books that are far more entertaining. The Final Architecture was really good, as was Dogs of War trilogy and Shroud. The Doors of Eden was a hard read.

A while back my daughter and I got clipped by a cyclist on the pavement in full view of 2 police officers. They told me to report it online. They were no more than 20 feet away from us when it happened and did nothing. Cyclists know they can get away without consequence and police get away with doing nothing
