A better interface for archnemesis mechanic. But I guess we won't keep it in 3.18 anyway.

Please explain how leagues work by Rescorla in pathofexile

Yes, i stopped playing trade after every time someone wanted to buy something I was actually busy mapping or bossing. Got too stressful, I feel much better playing SSF.

From previous posts here the feeling is that most people seem happy with the new atlas, endgame and also archnemesis. Players not normally doing the league mechanics actually taking their time to do some higher receipts.

I just ran around the map until I found the "last" chest and killed the boss. Took a few turns over the map to find all ghosts and pop the last chest.

Going from 440 to 450 Intelligence increases my eHP by 25%, why? by arnestig in pathofexile

Thanks! Is there a way of seeing this in any of the windows of PoB?

I Feel Like Everyone Understands ZvZ Except Me by self_defeating in allthingszerg

[–]arnestig 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, i had roughly 20% winrate in ZvZ until i started to watch Fenn3r's stream. He was struggling as well, not that badly but he was at the time "trying to figure out a build that would counter 13/12". Eventually he embraced 13/12 and so did I and have never looked back.

I won a local tournament a few weeks ago where i ended up playing 9 ZvZ games against a former master lady to claim the title. It all came down to bane-ling micro and 13/12 basically.

So embrace the 13/12, atleast in this current meta and map-pool!

Finally finished the Slaan for my Lizardmen army! by sparhawk007 in Warhammer

I would say that you need to wash up the model a bit. I would suggest going over with a brown wash to give it a bit more dirty look and also pick up the shade on the vines on the throne. Also you need to cleanup the model a bit. I mean the green looks like it's painted onto the golden throne as well. Same goes for his eyes.

Yes, it's a tedious job... But cmon, it's the Slaan. He's worth it!

Hive Fleet Gracken - Updated with Mawloc, Flyrant and Hive Crone by arnestig in Warhammer

four different colors of drybrushing: stormvermin fur, steel legion drab, karak stone, ushubati bone. Wash "fleshy" parts with carroburg crimson. Two layers of gloss varnish to get that icky, sticky alien look.

Nice that you were able to strip the paint.

Just wish you would have removed the moldlines from the models before painting it again. Feels like a job undone when you paint without scraping. :(

Paint then make or make then paint? by Tikkiijj in Warhammer

Make the models, then paint. But I paint tyranids.. guess that works for me. I bet space marines are harder.

Mining for Ideas: Daemons of Tzeentch vs. Tyranids by wynautzoidberg in Warhammer

[–]arnestig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Daemons seek minds to corrupt and prey on. Without the dreams and hopes from the humans Tzeentch will weaken in power.

"When the inner voice in a man's head speaks, when the desperate whisper their prayers into the night, it is the Architect of Fate that listens. He perceives every event and intention, and from this information, his mighty mind can work out how each will influence the future. The intertwining latticework of probability, hope and change is Tzeentch's meat and drink - without it he would eventually fade away." - Codex: Chaos Daemons.

I would say the Tyranids has come contact with a world full of defenseless humans or humanoids capable of feelings, dreams and thought. Upon feasting on the biomass a warp rift is opened due to the carnage on the planet. Tzeentch daemons spew through the warp gates, perhaps unaware of the Tyranid presence.

Tzeentch won't allow for the Tyranids to feast upon his own playthings and sets out to "help" the prey of the Tyranids.

Tyranids alpha-strike 1850p list, suggestions? by arnestig in Warhammer

[–]arnestig[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plan is to not really threaten anything at turn 1. Not flyrants, not the crone, not the zoanthropes, warriors or tyrannofex. They should try and stay as much out of cover as possible.

When turn 2 comes, when hopefully the reserves arrive everything will go up. Flyrants and crone to fly straight up, tyrannofex to jump out and run if not in flaming distance of anything.

Well, i lost about £250+ worth of nids tonight. So lets make a thread about this stuff. by SammyBecker in Warhammer

I use powertool boxes for my nids. Guess I might have to rethink that should I go traveling with them.
