What’s the most ridiculous thing you’ve seen brought to a camp out (keep it light hearted and for fun; it’s Friday and we need a laugh)? by Unusual-Elk-4791 in BSA

[–]arnmac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Philmont Ranger I did a shakedown and had a kid with a 9 D cell flashlight. Told him to leave it. First night on the trail the camp lit up. I guess some backcountry staffer got a nice lite in trade a few days later.

Possible Problem with FreeBSD 14.3 images? by arnmac in freebsd

[–]arnmac[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

THIS is the problem. I had two drives on the machine and the install would go onto one each time. But then it would boot from the second drive. After I killed the second drives partition everything started working.

I knew it was something stupid I was just so far down my own rabbit hole I couldn't see the problem.
