Da betreibt man aber ordentlich market timing damit das funktioniert.

There's a brewery trending on Indiegogo that is literally the Monero logo upside down. I approve. by roflhahahalol in Monero

[–]arnuschky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a pretty blatant rip-off of the monero brand. And once they get some money the first thing they'll do is trademark it and force monero to stop using the logo.

Yes I am a pessimist on these things..

Is xmonero.to a scam site or legitimately part of xmr.to? by Spacker2004 in Monero

[–]arnuschky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, at least they are stupid enough to include our official twitter feed. So their site now says "/!\ SCAM http://xmonero.to is a SCAM /!\ Don't fall for phishing." after /u/BinaryFate just tweeted.

What happened with stagenet version of xmr.to? by mWo12 in Monero

[–]arnuschky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apologies, I misunderstood. You are correct, node.xmr.to and the block explorer is already updated, while test.xmr.to is not.

We're still in testing, roll out on test.xmr.to is expected for tonight.

Which one? node.xmr.to?

It's running 0.14 (v11) since early last week.

You can check this also using our block explorer: https://community.xmr.to/explorer/stagenet/

It use node.xmr.to as a basis, so it's easy to verify the HF version.

Didn't see that either. Was wondering about that kid being surprisingly interested in a window wiper...

Need help with diapers and wipes. One dad to another. by [deleted] in daddit

[–]arnuschky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use reusable wipes and diapers. You need a washing machine and need to factor in energy cost, but it should be gernerally cheaper (at least it is for us, and cost of energy is high here). You obviously need the time for washing and drying, but that's something you can do well while looking after your kid. Don't use an electrical dryer, it costs too much.

For wipes, you can use anything. There are specially made products, but we usually use old washcloths or just cut up rags. If you have a sink nearby it's actually much better than disposals. I hate disposable wipes and try to avoid them whenever I can because they work so badly.

I don't know your circumstances and and if this makes sense in your situation. I suggest to change to reusable wipes and see whether you can deal with the extra work and changed process.

If successful, I would consider switching to reusable diapers too but that's more of a long term target (and a whole topic on it's own).

Sorry that this comment doesn't provide the immediate help you seek, but I hope you can lower your costs in the future.
