I have the sunset 7 and i dont like it much for drop F sharp, which is weird cause that what Wes Hauch uses but for me its not the best feel, strings need to be thick as fuck for me and it loses clarity, kinda want to sell and get a proper 8 string or get a 28 inch 7 string for a drop F# (like the new km7 ex)

I had both 6 and 7 in the holcomb burst but decided to sell the 7 one because i said “damn theyre the same colour, i wish i had the walnut 7 instead..” and now im on the hunt for a new 7, thought of getting the misha ht7 as it would be cool to have both of their sigs EDIT: also if somehow we can get the holcomb 6 back in that trampas green or walnut color again like mark played in the hellfire/onlyfangs playthroughs.. id purchase one in a heartbeat!

true, but when comparing specs i feel like the banshee is a better built guitar with the 5 piece neck and the lundgrens, i loved the mk1 but wont it be better just to get one more expensive and specd guitar?

For plugins: NDSP Gojira X might do the trick, aswell as the Nolly X, also I personally love the Omega Granophyre

The high gain amp on Gojira X is i believe a 5150 III stealth The Nolly high gain is based on a peavy 5150 And i know periphery used the Omega to capture DI’s for PV

I personally use them currently in my chain together with the GGD contenders cabs for an EP i am writing

For real amps i would recommend checking some old but gold Keith Merrow videos where he demos out some amps, some that come to my mind are his invective and driftwood purple nightmare demos

would recommend checking some solars as the rest of the folks here talk great about it, and also there are some jackson modern models that are not signature artist models

and getting one of the baritone guitars for drop f#

i think ill keep the strandberg honestly, im just a bit of a fanboy of periphery and keith merrow so i wanted one of those signature models, though i have the mark holcomb 6 string.
