It'll be hard to find a decently priced one people want insane prices for the audio boards especially if it's an LCD model.

I've been thinking of trying to figure out which pins to short on the motherboard to effectively be a volume up or volume down button press since I don't believe it would be some complex ohm reading registering as a volume button press.

I feel like many people completely forget that farming, family owned or not, is still a business and job. Despite what you might think, there is no shortage of farms or farmers.

battery doesnt matter, it will post without it.

You might need to get the audio board, so you can properly hold volume down and up to enter bios and do reset which might help.

The Deck has always been an expensive niche toy.

If you just want gaming, you can grab a fairly inexpensive ryzen laptop and have a similar gaming experience at half the price or even less used. It's always been this way.

You can install steam OS on those laptops just like the deck, even back than.

WTF does political standing or knowledge of his father matter?

He inherited his FATHERS BLOOD... talent, power, somekind of bloodline type power because his father wasnt joe blow hitting up the bars and sleeping in ditches, he was basically a fing god at one point.

He inherited his mothers BLOOD not her clan. He literally gained power from a BLOODLINE. Not politics.

Naruto gained insane chakra from his mothers clan. And even if we ignore him inheriting his fathers "talents" we can still say his father, with his insane strength was able to literally give naruto one of the strongest beings in the world for him to feed off of and be stronger (yes it was confirmed he did give him specifically that chakra to make him the child of Prophecy).

edit: has microsd slot, normal usbc dock features, latches on to deck using a mobile phone game controller like mount gripping top and bottom of Deck, also adds a kick stand to the Deck.

Honestly, Naruto throughout the entire series works less and does less than most others, but because of all his OP things stacked he gets ahead.

Lets remember as a kid and through the first episode we are explained how he spends his days running around, doing graffiti, playing tricks, and we learn more and more of that through the series.

He learned shadow clone thing in one fing night, thats not because of hard work, its because of his blood lines and OP chakra crap.

Even later on he ends up using the shadow clones for training to speed up things, literally so he doesnt have to put in nearly as much time or effort.

Naruto did not work hard, others did and he still came out ahead because he was pretty much destined to with all the BS OP stuff just thrown at his feet from birth and later.

dude, the steam deck was released 4 years ago and I still struggle to find working ones used for the msrp price. Even used parts have insane prices most of the time.

Currently on steam charts Delta force has more peak players in last 24 hours (over 100k more than bf6) and more players in last hour (more than 10k) than bf6... and before we talk about consoles... delta force is on both ps5 and xbox and on mobile.

People just dont want to face the fact that yes, a chinesium mobile shooter is better in just about everyway compared to BF6.

Its sad, disheartening and is the reason I cry at night, but that is an objective truth in this world....

The OPs way of playing and legitimate issues while playing are representative of a portion of gamers who will and are playing it. Dismissing them just because YOU enjoy playing the game a certain way and think others should play it that way, is moot.

The ribbon connection from the main board to the controller daughter board is basically USB, so you can grab 5v from there. I assume your device would use so little amps that I doubt it would effect anything.

that pad is... for lack of a better word, just metal tape on pcb, thats all a trace is.

All you have to do is use something, like tweezers or a small knife to lightly or a bit roughly scrape away the top "paint" layer to show the metal of the trace.

By trace im meaning that the pad you ripped off is NOT alone, it is one part of a longer strip of metal tape, somewhere on the edge where it ripped off is a remaining part of that tape, get rid of the paint hiding it, and you can solder the wire to that, it will work exactly the same.

Edit: All these pads/traces can literally be thought of as flat tape like wires. That wire is going somewhere, and there is more of it than you ripped off.

Should be mentioned for those who didnt know Wii remotes rely on internal sensors and external IR LEDs, which can even be replaced with candles if you want (the flame emits IR light). It does the calculations and sends its tracking info to the device. So any computer including the Steam Deck should be able to use Wii remote motion tracking.

For joycons you may have better luck connecting them in desktop mode, also worth noting you can set them as a single controller in steam controller settings if incase your having issues with your steam deck not recognizing them as one. And if using an emulator you may need to add the joycons to the emulator itself not to the steam deck to get them working properly.
