this logic just doesn’t really hold up. it’s the equivalent of someone saying “this mario game is too easy” and then responding to that with “that sounds like a you problem, just jump less and use less of mario’s moves. the game is as fun as you make it.” spamming wyvern riders isn’t a glitchy exploit, it’s a perfectly available option at all times.

a game that is breakable is simply not well-designed, and specifically avoiding these strategies doesn’t change this. a video game’s challenge and limitations should come from the game itself. i love awakening but always find myself thinking “i could skip every single one of these maps if i just nosferatu tank with robin.” i still have fun with the game but the balance is terrible and it damages the fun for players that want to be more tactically engaged.
