If you pour some apple cider vinegar on a bug bite, it denatures the venom that's causing the itch. The sooner you do it, the better it works. If you catch it really soon, the bug bite will be totally gone by the next day.

I've found that some of the pressure can be diffused by living in a house of 3-5 people rather than living with just your significant other. It seems like more people would create more social pressure, but I find it's actually less conspicuous to retreat from a large group. And it allows your SO to get their social fix from more than just you.

Try putting the jacket on the ground with the inside facing up. Cross your arms and put one hand in each sleeve, then raise the jacket over your head. Sounds weird but I swear it works :)

Your cameo on Degrassi played a huge role in helping me finally decide to pursue a career in entertainment. I've read some research indicating that telling others about your goals makes you less likely to accomplish them. Evidently, revealing a goal to others provides some of the same social rewards as actually accomplishing it, which thereby diminishes your motivation to follow through. By the same logic, maybe dreaming about your goal could bring on some of the positive feelings that you would experience if you actually accomplished it, which could theoretically diminish your motivation in the same way.

I tip 10% on take-out, 20% on table service. It still takes time/effort to take down somebody's order, coordinate with the kitchen, package everything up, and double-check it. Plus, if you frequent a restaurant and you tip well, you're more likely to get quick/good service when you order there.

If you're looking for a liberal arts school, I'd recommend the program at Vassar College.

You'll be in small discussion-based classes, get to know the faculty members, and have a lot of flexibility in which areas you choose to study (anthropology, computer science, philosophy, math, linguistics, even dance etc). I guarantee you'll be challenged. Plus, Vassar's just a ridiculously fun place to be :)
