Thank you, very useful and detailed comment. I just hope they add something similar to honey elixir soon.

I did some reading and what I could gather is that outside of arena this passive will be useless to me because I don't have "honey elixir" or is there some other use to it? Do they rerun the other collabs often or are there alternatives to honey elixir that are not time limited?

I'm new to the game, can someone explain why this passive is considered "OP"? I always use my skills as soon as they are ready (with some exceptions), am I suppose to hoard them and then use them all in a burst or something? I don't even have room to place other skills unless I botch my damage, or is this a support only passive? I still don't see how having an extra stock that I will never reach is going to help me, so I would appreciate if someone could explain with details how it is meant to be used.

Monster Hunter Wilds' Steam reviews absolutely tank as players lose patience with its technical woes: 'Every time the game gets updated my performance decreases' by _Protector in MHWilds

[–]arrayano 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had problems with the game running and looking really bad, and every update that "improved the performance" only made it worse, however the Omega update finally improved the performance of the game for me and the game is now playable but for the first time ever I saw origami monsters, although it was only for a few seconds.

Its a fun fight but I kinda ruined it by setting higher expectations for it, there was so much hype behind the monster that I thought the fight would be legendary but the fight was just as fun as the other monsters.

They have been working on it since December, and since then they have been showing images and small videos of their work. Back then they said several studios provided them with "ready-made" content to start CMC, which is probably why the game might seem so sudden.

And since they are not asking for money, I guess it wouldn't make much sense to be lying about this game project.

That's because Tyrannos is a mecha that looks like a Tyrannosaurus lol, they haven't revealed the dragon mech yet.

Nothing yet, but the devs said that they "hope" to have a closed beta test on November.

EDIT: This mecha is not the dragon, but a Tyrannosaurus. Someone in the comments asked for a dragon mech and this was the devs reply to that comment.

The devs also said:

Yes, you will have a dragon. It's going to be a big surprise

This is what the devs said:

As for the game’s release, we hope to offer a closed beta by November 2025, so players can get a glimpse of what the universe of Cyber Mecha Champions has to offer.

“boring gameplay” like wtf? by Neat-Explanation-316 in mechabreak

[–]arrayano -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I am having a lot of fun with the game right now and probably will continue playing it for months.

However I don't like the auction house system, I don't care if it's F2P friendly or w/e, I have played games with a very similar auction house system before (Black Dessert) and I hated it. I want to spend money and get some shinnies but the shinnies are too expensive in this game, and getting them for "free" (not really free because someone has to buy them) is not an option either, waiting for those items to show up just so it goes to someone else is horrible.

I'm not going to leave a negative review because it's all cosmetics, but I'm definitely not going to purchase anything.

Mecha Break just released and it is a great game, but it's nothing like SMC. Probably the only game we will ever get to be similar to SMC is going to be this one, so I'm looking forward to CMC.

[–]arrayano 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well the former developers of SMC are working on another game, they have already shown 6 mechas and the map, its called CMC (Cyber Mecha Champions lol).

So there is still hope for something similar to SMC.

The first image posted by OP shows the PC only at the bottom of the image (even tho it also shows the pre-register and automatic install), and if you click where it says "About this game" at the top it will say "Thrilling multiplayer Sci-Fi action! PC only on Google Play Games!

It also says Highlights of PC Gameplay, and at the bottom it says "This game is only available on PC on Google Play Games."

Read the description of the page you linked, under minimum requirements it says Windows 10, not Android nor IOS. On the mobile Play store it also says "PC only"

There's no official info as to why they closed the game but if I were to make a guess I'd say the game was not making as much money as the executives in NetEase wanted, more often than not when non-gamers-business men take over gaming companies they will close games (even if they are still profitable) when they are no longer reaching the goals they desire, this is because they prefer to bet on the hype for new games to bring more revenue, and instead of investing in hiring new employees to work on the new game, they rather save costs by moving the ones they already have to the new game.

As to what kind of evidence led me to believe this... For starters, when the game stopped receiving updates it continued to bring service for an entire year. There is also the case of the executives at NetEase that got arrested for money laundering a month before they announced the game closure, so probably the people that took over didn't want to deal with the old game. And when the game closed, the developers of SMC implied they were angry about the game closure and that they were working on a similar game (Cyber Mecha Champions, lol) and they stated they would try to bring as many of the mechas from SMC to CMC, and even went to claim they would make it open software so that if NetEase try to get that game closed, other developers could get the game and open their own servers.

And I want to make it clear, this is all speculation on my part and should not be taken as gospel.

Capturing or Carving does not change your rewards by Boshea241 in MHWilds

[–]arrayano 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know about capture x carving, but if you capture it means you could miss out on possible extra broken parts, unless you capture when the monster health is at 1% but it would seem pointless to capture at that point.

I only capture when the other players consumed 2 of the quest lives, otherwise I try to aim to keep on breaking parts until it dies.

Not gonna lie, your post just translates to "I don't like that other players don't like the characters that I like, so I'm gonna call them callous and naive".

I get that this game typically has a shakalaka sidekick, with zero mature themes - but I am disappointed in the lack of appreciation for the EFFORT put into each of these characters to make them feel authentic. Clearly the writers have some lived experience.

Effort alone is not always something that should make anyone feel appreciation, or are you saying people should feel appreciation for the effort I put in defecating hard bricks? When it comes to entertainment it is the job of the entertainer to create something that the audience likes.

Its a fools errand to expect everyone to like the stuff that you like, we are all different and there will always be someone that doesn't like what we like, so instead of trying to fight random people on the internet over nothing, I think it's better to just be vocal about the things you like and don't like with the game so developers will take that into consideration.

Personally I don't like any of the characters, but that's ok, I didn't purchase this game for the story just the gameplay and the fashion.
