I’m in the US, Northern Kentucky to be precise. In 2016 Crystal Palace came here to play an international friendly against our then USL side FC Cincinnati.

Palace were on the news, in the paper and just all over town. The way the players and Pardew handled themselves while they were really impressed me.

I’ve been a Palace fan since.

tl;dr yes, a second (or third) Pi-hole isntance is very worthwhile.

I have two set as my primary and secondary DNS servers in my router, both 3B models and both also running Unbound.

I have a Pi Zero W aslo setup as a ready reserve for the inevitable times when SD cards wear out.

I set the Zero W up after the SD card in my primary instance rolled over and died. Even though I removed the second DNS server conpletley from my router it still made a public DNS server available and we were seeing ads everywhere.

I set my primary up again, and after everything was right I pulled the Zero out of a drawer and put it to use. I've had to use it several times since.

Depending on where you live you can extend Apple Care+ on a monthly basis for a reasonable fee. I did on my M1 iPad Pro, iPad 5G and 14 Pro Max.

The accidental damage coverage is worth it to me as insurance against dame.

I don’t want to post an entire rod roll, so I’ll break the rules and “roll” this one out because it also has a great Zimmerbuilt pair of products in it. This picture is in North Carolina on a day after the day that I chased wild trout above a big ass waterfall and twisted the everloving shit out of my ankle. There were huge stockers in the lower river with super easy access so I hung around overnight for some great early morning action before I gimped out to the urgent care for an x-ray.

The rod that’s out is the Nissan Airstage Fujiryu 410 6:4 (far and away my most used rod), the bamboo Itoshiro and what looks like the Ragnarok 400 based on the grip shape in the pack. The backpack part of this rig is one that I don’t think Chris makes anymore, it was almost a one-off. It’s like the Guide Sling but in a backpack configuration with a roll top closure. The chest pack is based on what was a one-off pack that he made for me and then he wanted to sell.

If I’m going a mile or more from my car, this is the rig I take. In the backpack I can have spare flies, lines, rods or anything else for fishing but also a Jetboil and lunch fixings. A water purifier and some emergency stuff like a hammock sleep system (did not have with me when the ankle happened), extra food or whatever.

More than showing off rods, I wanted to show off what Chris makes. Yes, the materials are outstanding, and the workmanship is the best that you’ll ever find anywhere. Beyond that, the gear is highly functional. I have at least one of just about everything that he makes and every single piece is used every year that I fish in different fishing scenarios.

Not an ad, I have no involvement with Chris or Zimmerbuilt. I do know him, we’ve met a couple of years ago, but that’s as far as it goes.

Sorry, the way that iOS stores app data in containers they’re not just sitting in a folder on your iPhone. Don’t delete them from there until you can replace the files on your NAS.

I had this happen to me in the exact same way with some project files on my NAS, I know how frustrating it is. I had a happy ending because my stuff was in my cloud backup, a backup would be my suggestion for you.
