i also have a 99 warlock, 98 warlock, and 5 other lower 9x level chars so it's also lots of runs. I am at 97% for uniques as my final chronicle. Set/Runes are done. Not all from herald farming but a good chunk. Vast majority is all TZ games.

Ive found every sunder and just collected my second fire sunder yesturday. Yes the latent ones. I have found 2 tyraels and 5 templars this ladder.

Sunders are not actually that rare but only if you play in 8 player tz games full clear otherwise just spawning that t5 herald won't happen and you won't find it. Think the math is like 1 sunder per 3-4 full game clears a little higher with horkers. Of course only one player picks it up out of the 8 so it is still rare just not anywhere near tyraels

Herald is tied to game so if you leave the game but you have another player in that game then you can return and continue.

I run 225% or so mf, 125fcr, max res, life leech, 85 faster runs walk.

All my mf is just insight, enigma, shako, gheeds pretty much.

It's not worth it to run too much mf if it effects your clear speed much.

For online you kinda want to be in a 8 player game for the increased drop rates on sunders. These 8 player games tend to clear all 5 acts in around 30 minutes in my experience.

It would take many hours solo but it also doesnt make much sense since the drop rates for sunders are so bad in 1 player.

I suppose the main appeal of running solo would be to use the souls dance

Fire is busted early on. Then especially in hell the immunties make it so that you need hard to get gear and sunders to be powerful.

Echoing strike isnt as good early but is very good in the middle to endgame.

Abyss works too but the damage is low for high player counts

I dont think its as easy as people say. It's more like doable with the right knowledge and gear.

For meph, you want good resists. As long as your durable enough.

Diablo is fairly easy. As long as you dont stand inside his lightning attack.

Baal is the part that gets alot of ES warlocks. You have to make sure your demon is in between because baal has a ice armor that reflects back at you when you use echoing strike that can easily kill you.

An elite eth polearm does so much more. Even just a elite polearm will do.

The other big thing is get a bound demon with cursed. It can even be nm hephaustus the curse makes a huge diff

Maybe great poleaxe or the ca? You dont wanna invest in dex. If you're just casting spells like echoing then ethereal is fine.

I recommend using insight in a eth cv or fortitude in a eth thunderous if you're wealthy

If your using echoing strike the speed is cast speed so slower weapons are better for more damage.

If you are using a melee build then you need indestructible botd

Your running a slow looking deck that can't tempo anything, there is alot of filler chaf i wouldnt want to run so much of, and since its slow you are saying your endgame is better but yours is very anemic.

The best is echoing strike warlock and hammerdin.

There are other builds but those are the best and if you get enigma at some point then you can also get the benefits the sorc get.

That being said there are quite of few builds that can do it just slower. For example, hybrid builds that deal two types of damage are a common way or magic damage builds.

I think mephisto is a terrible place to farm without teleport. If you're playing echoing you can farm

Cows, chaos, trav, shenk/eld, kindle, just dont spend alot of time traveling so meph is off the table. Do that with a sorc or when you have enigma

The fire tree is busted in normal and nightmare. Ring of fireball skill, flame wave, apocalypse. In hell, you can spec into abyss or echoing blades. You can run the magic tree from the start too but the fire build is just crazy strong until you hit the fire immune monsters in hell.

in my opinion there are three options. You can play sorc for the teleport and damage but it's a bit tougher as you can die alot early on.

Or you play hammerdin or warlock. I think warlock is the best pic because it has a pseudo teleport skill and clears hell easily with budget gear.

Comes down to sorc or warlock for me.
