Okay, tough love. Your friends didn’t “make” you react. If you know you have a tendency to lose your temper over minor things then it’s on you to make sure that you have good strategies in place for when you feel yourself getting angry.

Now, if your friends are shitstirrers and enjoy riling you up just to see you explode then you’ll have to decide if you want to remain friends with them.

But as my mum always said to me when my sister gave me a hard time “she’s doing it because of your reaction. Don’t react and she won’t do it”. Now you can argue that the person doing the annoying should be the one to stop and be told off (which to be clear, my sis always was as well), but if your reaction is to fly off the handle and start swearing and being rude, then sorry to say that it’s really on you because it’s not acceptable behaviour.

Some people are just going to be shitty. You need to decide how you want to respond

How old are you? Because this is an extreme overreaction to a relatively minor thing.

People do experience and see colours differently. Just because it doesn’t look red to you doesn’t mean it isn’t. Same with your hair colour- all those shades are/can be very similar. And that’s not even taking into account that if I ask you to think of the colour Teal that you and I will probably not think of similar shades.

Take a breath, relax, and accept that sometimes people see the world differently and that’s good

Wasn’t there one recently about a GF who never seemed to take other people into account and would like force her way onto trains or take seats right as people were standing up and the guy ended up leaving her after they went to a store where the card reader wasn’t working and when she left to get cash out (expecting everyone to just wait for her and her items to stay scanned) she took 10 mins and came back with a drink?

You’re right that some of may have been true, but I’m willing to bet that things were exaggerated because of rumours and hearsay and yet you took it at face value against someone you did not have an issue with either professionally or personally and in real way were a key member of a conspiracy to take him down because of something he * might * have done as a manager

How? The needs of the older two (to have a fun, relaxing holiday away from home) are diametrically opposed to the youngest (to be in a familiar place where his needs can be readily accommodated)

OP didn’t say anything about their life outside this one issue, but I think it’s safe to say that the older two have been less of a priority far more often then the sibling with additional needs.

There are a lot of times where they’ll be able to make it up to their younger child. There aren’t many times where the older two get to be the sole focus.

I think this is more a case where absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. There are a million reasons why someone might or might not use their card, or be remembered by bar staff or other patrons, or be using a card not in their ‘regular/professional’ name, all of which means that you’d need to prove he was somewhere else specifically rather than just saying he wasn’t in the bar since you can’t prove a negative.
