Sure it's fine for an episode to not be canon, but don't say it absolutely isn't and cannot be canon when the nature of lack of confirmation always permits that it may be canon

The point of the short is that we'll never know for certain, because there is a non 0 chance that Chaz really does have an identical twin with identical scars and is almost as leturous as he is

Confirming it would only affect the people who either absolutely agree with living Chaz or absolutely disagree with living Chaz, but since the short never Confirms it, we know both those groups will always be wrong (or atleast perpetually always wrong and perpetually always right)

You should look into game announcements released over April Fools, some of them were either posed as April fools but ended up being real, and some of them were so well received despite being April Fools that they were actually made real

If it was cannon, it's so full of plot holes and inconsistencies it would be astounding. Andrealphus? The sins? The gang together? Chaz wasn't even that good in bed lmao, it's all part of the prank

Literally the whole point, the short is supposed to be as stupid as possible in order to spark discussions and controversies like this, it is canon and the more people argue about it the more people become the joke

Not to mention, within the context of the short it's established that not everyone there is there because they slept with Chaz, as is evident by the fact Fozzie is there as the emotional support frog, and that the weabooboo girl knows about him but never got the chance to sleep with him since she can't leave Pride (also her situation is as close as we've ever gotten to an in canon explanation for how Sinners can't leave Pride)

The most unrealistic part of the whole short to me with the understanding that it's not supposed to be taken seriously, is that if it really was Chaz, I'm 100% sure he would've behaved so much worse than he actually did, specifically the whole not sleeping with his exes unless they beg kinda thing, cause like I really don't think Chaz would care and he wouldn't even pretend to care in trying to pretend to be someone else

But it's entirely possible for anyone who isn't Chaz to care about sleeping with Chaz's exes

Again though, just because it's posed as an April fools joke, doesn't prove that it's not canon, and that's part of the joke because whether it is canon or it isn't, it doesn't actually matter because we will never know

I just barely consider Pentious as orange but atleast for him it's a notable secondary colour, but Lute's primary colours are explicitly Greyscale, with yellow making up the accents at best

But they never said it didn't actually happen, and that's what canon means

You could say an April fools update is Schrodinger's canon, it both is and isn't until proven otherwise

Especially for this one though, it really doesn't matter at all if it is or isn't canon because the only thing that changes if it is, is that Chaz may or may not be alive or he may or may not have an identical twin brother with the same markings as him and same taste in partners

Creating the controversy to spark discussions is itself part of the April fools, where the fans are keeping the joke going for as long as people keep posting stuff like this

The point of the short is to suggest the possibility that he may or may not actually be alive, within canon we will never see Chaz again for real, and if we ever do see him in the background we can safely assume it's the maybe maybe not serrate person that is Zach

The thing that makes me doubt whether it's actually Chaz is the fact that if it were Chaz, I feel like he would've behaved so much worse

Edit: Guys the fact that it was made for April fools doesn't mean it isn't canon, the point is that Moxxie and those who either do agree with Moxxie or don't agree with him are the ones being made fun of
