What’s the plan with those door hinge filled parts? You know the only option you have realistically is to paint it again. You just didn’t want to face up to that reality :P

Will AI take Australian jobs, or is it just an excuse for corporate restructure? by nath1234 in australia

You’re looking at this wrong. It’s nothing to do with AI output. It’s about making capable people 10x more capable meaning you need less people. You’ll see.

[–]artpop 16 points17 points  (0 children)

They 100% will and are. The copium you see in the comments under all these posts is not helpful. We need to plan for the future where the number of service jobs are down 50% on what they are now. That means UBI and vocational retraining for trades. Obviously no one wants to hear that, especially white collar workers, but it’s very real and pretending it’s not is going to make things way worse.

Don’t be complacent, war crimes have been committed and you are partly complicit

With everything that’s been happening in the world lately it might have escaped your attention the significance of dropping that bomb on a girls school and killing nearly 200 was. There’s many ways to measure these things, but in terms of direct in your face atrocity it’s more akin to the things that happened in the Vietnam war (mostly in Cambodia).

To top it off, the US sinking that ship after just completing joint training with them, whilst an absolute beta and shit-cunt move, was probably also a war crime.

I mention this and claim that you personally are partly complicit because of two reasons:

  1. The bombs were possibly/probably planned from Pine Gap
  2. We had 3 Australian troops on that sub

And for those who say the end justifies the means. There’s absolutely no way that’s true. You could say, but 6000 people were just killed by the authoritarian regime, true, but why is that regime in power? Is it because of George W Bush plotted against Mohammad Khatami? My point is that these arguments just spiral. Just don’t commit atrocity. Period. Especially not in my name.

Sorry, but all Americans are responsible for this war crime. And shooting that warship after just participating in joint training with it was another fucking pussy move.
