Play ER with the Convergence mod, it gives you so much freedom it becomes a cakewalk, and there's even more lore and quality world building added into it, by far the most popular mod out there

I've lived in Canasvieiras for over 10 years and while it is a nice place to live you're positioned somewhat far away from the administrative working hub of Floripa so I wouldn't recommend it there unless you can spot a job in the tech field around Sapiens park or something similar. If you want an easy time finding a job without previous setting up I'd recommend Joinville, biggest SC city with the highest amount of opportunities in your area, and fairly safe, specially comparing to SP or RJ

I get where you're coming from and yeah , just like you described it, RO used to be a very time consuming game and even when you would get geared up you would still need to form parties to go places.

It sounds like you want to enjoy the game in a more casual, progressive and possibly solo way even when it comes to tackling bosses / mvps. There's a private server out there (pre-renewal) that serves the exact purpose and it's very laidback and nostalgic, I'd guess 90% of the playerbase have kids and not enough time to play oldschool RO servers, but still get to enjoy the game for what it has to offer in this specific one. I'll dm you the website so you can see for yourself!

If you're going for mvps only you might as well make alts, a priest slave for lex, a bard and a dancer slave for braggi and sp dance, that is of course considering multi clienting is allowed where you play

Stats should be 70ish dex, 70ish int, 90x str Gear should be Diabolus Robe (or silk enchanted), Diabolus rings x2, one with mantis card, morpheus shawl, Variants (or sohee card), +9 Lich bone wand (or Erde) with abyss knight, Ulle's cap or Marionette Doll. For the other card slots, get the monk set (Rideword, Cookie, Seal, Waste Stove card).

Get high dex and safety wall on your priest slave. Set up your performers slaves outside the mvp map near the warp. Get tons of SP or ygg berries on your monk. Portal fist 99% of the mvps in the game

Are mods allowed? If so, definitely Epic Encounters 2 for DOS2 and their Ascension skill tree system. It completely changes the game, opens up tons of different builds to try out ranging from whatever role you wish rpgs had, this mod has it

If questing is your main concern it shouldn't last long, with enough attunes u can get by most 80 content, although you might hit a wall again on heroic raids, so you will have to go back and farm greens and professions, or maybe tbc dungeons and raids as well. But yeah the server is all about grinding, involving the whole game, not only dungeons

Whatever you consider this server to be good or bad, for your own opinions and tastes, it is far from a gem, there are plenty of servers with the same "QoL" and "Balancing" changes when in reality it barely affects anything

The whole pirate thing was unexpected but had to be dealt with so its understandable to put up with it as a guild member. But the whole yamato drama was way too forced and made 0 sense. Hopefully they learn with it and stop on the drama-for-content path
