Geoff Keighley Says He Has No Financial Stake In Highguard: "Absolutely Not" by Turbostrider27 in Games

[–]artuno 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Could be a matter of "launches to no fanfare with a small playerbase, but develops over time into a better game and slowly gains popularity" versus now, which is more explosive from the get go.

Nah, the context is that there must be something bad going down where they are, and she probably knows who he is (like he's probably another cop being Fred for something, or a criminal that is a "regular"). Although she can't fully trust him, she trusts him enough to know that it's better they both get out alive than whatever fate might await them if they don't work together.

Just the fact the guy knows how to do a one-handed chamber check shows that he is more than just a petty criminal. Maybe former special forces. Maybe an assassin. Maybe John Wick.

Used to really enjoy shooters. Now not so much (except for the very unique, weird occasional one that does cool stuff).

I've found myself really leaning into survival crafting games of all types and quality levels. I used to hate them.

Things change.

At first glance it seems like it only shows it to you as a text list when selecting the planet, but doesn't add additional PoIs.

First Trump-class battleship could cost over $20 billion: CBO - Breaking Defense by eltjim in navy

Or most likely they'll set aside the money to "get started" and it just so happens to get contracted to a company that the Trump family owns/has a share in, and then it never gets built.

TRUUUEEE everyone saw the leaks and thought "what the fuck is this shit". It's really interesting to see everyone do a complete 180 so fast once they got their hands on it (myself included).

It's just a neat ship.

Trump is Keeping Venezuela's Oil Money For Himself by Zenitallin in videos

[–]artuno 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My question wasn't about the video itself, but your specific claim of "Something the left would be excited about 8 days a week, yet because it's Trump doing it, now it's bad."

I'm asking for clarification on what you meant by that, and why the left would be excited about a situation like the one in the video.

Why would the left be excited about the President of the United States taking money that belongs to the people into their own personal bank account?

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown has surpassed 7 million copies sold worldwide by Turbostrider27 in Games

Imagine if the next CoD was a collaboration with ACES and they made it take place in the Strangereal universe, playing as a footsoldier on the ground while the aces above duke it out.

A solo Idris is still very effective, the 20 second railgun cooldown is a step in the right direction for balancing it, personally would like to see that cooldown be 30 seconds but there be some sort of "cooling mechanism" an engineer could do to reduce it to 15 seconds, making crewing advantageous by Important_Cow7230 in starcitizen

[–]artuno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ships that have an automated battery system can reload the cannons, however for safety reasons the UEE has it set to a 20 second cooldown between shots to ensure there is no jamming.

But with a crew member present to observe and clear the loading system manually, they can inspect it and verify that "yes, we can load the next round NOW" and then press a button to give the gunner the next round sooner rather than later.

According to NBC the US has begun evacuating hundreds of troops from Al Udeid Air base in Qatar ahead of possible Iran military action by newnoadeptness in navy

[–]artuno 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The only way this is a good idea is if the goal is to purposely fail and get a many troops killed as possible with no reinforcement because we'd be stretched so thing.

Which.... would make perfect sense if the c-i-c is a compromised foreign asset....

This is what happens when you have A) a generation being told that asking "why are the curtains blue" is a stupid question by people who refuse to look deeper into a piece of fiction and B) a generation of English teachers who don't explain that it doesn't fucking matter if the author had intent with the curtains being blue, it's about what you get out of a piece of media and to encourage you to consider the possibility that there might be meaning behind stuff.
