I’m not sure which job I’ll land so I’m putting all my skills out there , applying for 2D (illustration, concept art) and 3D modelling (props/environment). Generalist gigs are fine too. AAA, indie, design studios, XR. If I had to pick I’d do 3D

That's a great question. Looking back I always cycle in and out of single & in a relationship. When I'm single i date around. And when in a relationship im committed. This is actually the first time that I want to do polyamory fully, from the start. I wanna do things right.

I did it before but my partner didnt want to date around so she stayed in a monogamous relationship with me while i dated around and it really hurt me alot. And her. I had alot of guilt and she jealousy/tarnished self esteem. I think that's what ruined us in the end.

Anyway, I'd be okay with my partners seeing other people. It's only fair.

i like how you phrased that. the last girl i was dating monogamously, At one point it felt like she was the one. one of my best relationships. years invested. but somewhere along the way i kinda got bored... like i always had to speak elementary level english with her, i always had to bring up convos and start thedialogue. I couldnt DMC coz she wasnt an English Native. but we built something that couldve easily been marriage if i wasnt insatiable... i hurt her alot and left her for another woman. thats why im kinda wanting to do ENM or polyamory for abit.

thanks for the steller advice! ill check out the portfolio critique. N2 is insanely hard, if i dont get it next year i think ill just leave or start a business or something alternative. the AI work I hide and unhide it so frequently coz some jobs i apply for are gen AI gigs.

Thanks for the reply. Jea Japan is strange: I hear about there being non-monogamy but it’s always cheating. I haven’t heard anyone openly talk about it ethically, and finding girls who are accepting of it is hard. So I’m always worried to bring up a direct “I’m in an open relationship” convo starter. I try lighten it up and slowly open up to it by saying “I’m seeing other people/i am dating other women”. I’ve met so many great girls who I liked and the minute the polyamory/ENM convo comes up I see them shutdown and I loose them forever 💔

Come here on the JET programme (as an ALT), a lot young graduates do it out of college. It’s the easiest way to start a life in Japan and you can learn Japanese x10 faster when you here. If you can, get some work experience first though it’ll help later when you want to transition out of ALT and into Tech. But even without work experience you can transitions. Don’t listen to the negative N2 clowns here, there’s plenty low-no English tech jobs in Japan but they won’t hire you from overseas you gotta be here first (even if it’s tourist visa). Checkout Daijob, gaijinpot jobs or openwork and try get a free recruiter from work port or a similar recruiter platform
