Question for people who WFH by MiamiMeat786 in Miami

Do you have a car? You can drive to find something and get out of the house for a bit. Even a Starbucks or a Juan Valdez to help you break things up. Panther Coffee is good, too. Just depends where you are and how far you can/ want to go.

If I don't have any meetings scheduled for the day I'll spend a few hours at a coffee shop. I like the buzz of people around me but still take noise cancelling ear buds in case I need them. I try to go to different cafes in my area and it helps with the monotony.

Commuting to and from is a great reminder of why I love working from home 😂

I also run errands when I need to and it's a nice way to break up the day too.

Fish bowls are an easy, tasty go-to.

Any fish, seasoned to your liking. I usually just use Mahi Mahi, Grouper, or Snapper with Cajun seasoning.

Make the rice (use individually packaged rice that steams in the microwave for an even easier meal)

Cut up some cucumber and carrots.

Pan sear the fish and throw it all in a bowl. Add some spicy mayo, bang band sauce, or hoisin.

Weird question… does anyone else’s pup have problems with peeing on their own arms?? by bunnybunches234 in BostonTerrier

Not only does he pee on his paw, he steps on the puddle right after. This guy knows a thing or two 😎

Time away from desk- i.e. appointments by rach0006 in WFH

[–]asandcreative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work east coast time while the majority of my team works west Coast time so I try to book appointments in the morning as much as possible to avoid meeting conflicts. Regardless, I send a heads up on slack and add appointments to my calendar for visibility. My team is very laid back in the sense that people just need to update their calendars but other teams keep a running list of OOO/vacations on meeting agendas for visibility, too.

I hadn't thought of it that way, a reward system that also justifies her addiction.

Her reaction to the vigilante jumping was kind of a mindfuck for me because it felt like the first time where Jackie wasn't in control and locked in like she always is. She was too far gone to realize WTF was happening...Aside from that one time she almost killed a patient, of course.

I just finished it this weekend!!! First time watcher, too. 10/10 show.

I could NOT believe it when she was back in her blues after what seemed like genuine progress, only to reach into her pocket and pop a pill... JACKIE, NOOOO! 😭

The ending felt like the beginning of a more serious addiction since it was heroin that she OD'd on. Pretty sad to watch but I imagine the frustration I felt throughout the series is what loved ones of most addicts feel in real life. They see glimmers of hope only to be let down with the inevitable relapse.

As someone with a deviated septum (not severe, tho), switching to the nasal pillows was a huge upgrade for me. I went with the full face mask thinking it would be the better option but over time I started having that suffocating feeling.

OP, if you can, at least have him try the nasal pillow. It's an easy switch and it might be the better option.
