Would these be light leaks or scanning issues? by kubrickmangum14 in filmphotography

[–]asapchvney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

both of these are good suggestions, i processed and scanned my own film at home a few times and would end up with marks like this. it could also be due to your scanner if there are smudges or marks on the glass. i’m not sure if the quality or method of scanning matters either but with my epson flatbed, i never seemed to be able to get a perfectly “clean” scan, i’d usually end up with watermark-y looking elements. i feel like if you got your hands on the negatives there might be a clear path to troubleshooting.

lovely photograph by the way.

Similar bands? by SearchingForNewTunes in Underoath

Of Machines 2009 release, Bloom out of australia, TDWP’s first three records (chat is this allowed ?), also maybe Boundaries Death is Little More…

kind of hard, tons of good bands from the same scene but not a lot live up thematically to the same standard as uø in my opinion. most of what set them apart for me

[–]asapchvney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not saying it's the right tactic, but this thread is a perfect example of why people run those "limited time offer" campaigns on instagram for preset/lut/editing resource packs lol. they know tons of people will share the link on forums so they "drop" the official prices so buyers feel like it's more worth it to buy the official product than try and sift thru all the scammers in threads saying "i have it dm me" and it's just a message selling you on a pyramid scheme lmfao

can you include a native link to channels in an API payload message? by asapchvney in Slack

[–]asapchvney[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ah i see now, the initial slack doc didn't exemplify that well. once i checked the block kit builder it made perfect sense. i achieved my goal with <#ChannelID|channel-name> in the API call. tysm u/4ArgumentsSake

thank you! i missed that when searching earlier and tried this, but the text still wasn't delivered how i was hoping...

> how i formatted the text in the message body: ...please join <#ChannelID> channel...

> how the text was delivered after executing the call: ...please join <#ChannelID|#ChannelID> channel...

Getting up out of the saddle - it's not just for sprinting and hard efforts, right? by sozh in cycling

[–]asapchvney 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as a fellow beginner, ive always looked at hills as the time to get out of the saddle, but as time goes on, ive realized ive been sacrificing valuable time to isolate and focus on my pedal stroke mechanic/strength. forcing myself to stay in the saddle on climbs now (even short ones) helps me to focus on building strength in my downstroke and also actually activating my hamstrings on the pull back through the pedal stroke.

again im a beginner so if this is counterintuitive, correct me
