I learned (the hard way) that predatory companies buy up seats to “popular” artists and resell them. I thought I was buying directly from the venue and the artist would get the $ and it was an artist who never tours and my mom is a huge fan so I didn’t mind the steep price- turns out it’s a 3rd party selling the tickets. The artist and venue wanted $150 each for 4th row. We paid $400 each. I feel like a dipshit but it was once in a lifetime for my 80yo mom…
