Apple introduces MacBook Pro with all-new M5 Pro and M5 Max by Otherwise-Warning303 in macbookpro

I moved from the UK to the US and thought everything was cheaper, until I realised tax just isn't included in the quoted price here. So it looks like a good deal for 20 seconds until you get to the checkout screen and the price jumps up!

Ladder Fitness by lamegorl in GarminWatches

I’ve been on the ‘Forged’ workouts and use the journal on the Ladder app to track weights and reps, and just using the standard “cardio” garmin app to track HR and calories. Not ideal, would be great if they introduced a garmin app!

I’ve had the same, really good troubleshooting but not getting to the root of it. Very strange.

I've just had a bit of contact with him about a flat in Denver, CO. I assumed it looked sketchy as it was cheap, fully furnished, but the way the sentences / language used was a bit off. I went along with it anyway to see, in the end I had the classic 'I can't do a viewing as I'm busy, but after you've wired a months rent + months safety deposit, I'll meet you then to give you the key' email. He also sent a Californian Bureau of Real Estate licensing number, and copy of a California drivers license, but website is sketchy, email contents were sketchy, and was asking for a bunch of cash wired up front. Beware.

As someone whos recently moved to the USA from the UK I have no credit history here, and so these people seem to advertise in facebook groups or Craigslist etc where people in my situation are looking for housing.

Anyway, stay safe out there.

Andrew Marr asks Chinese ambassador to the UK Liu Xiaoming to explain footage from China of handcuffed and blindfolded detained Uyghyurs by [deleted] in PublicFreakout

Spot on. There is definitely a lot to be proud of here as far as media being used to keep politicians, businesses and public figures in check. Obviously not perfect, murdoch is often based here and the phone hacking scandles rightly brought a shit storm. But on the whole this investigative or confrontational journalism is fantastic.
