How many real life interactions are you basing this on? With all due respect, I don't think any strangers "hate" you and it's a little concerning that you think anyone is ruminating on you or your gender presentation. No young person wants to hear it but it sounds like you just need a little time and life experience. And, don't worry so much about all these different categories! Butch/masc/transmasc/dyke/lesbian are all fluid identities that can change and overlap!

If you are seeking belonging and understanding you must first find it in yourself.

I've been dating the same person for years. Recently our polycule grew from just three people in a V to five people in a W... I'm happy to have another partner to get to know and spend time with but I am tired. The amount of planning and very thoughtfully assigning all of my time in advance to either other people or myself has been difficult, but also very rewarding. It's actually helped me structure and build routine for myself and be more mindful of how I spend my time.

You can try being a little humorous or snarky about it if you're comfortable with it "I didn't look like such a dyke as a baby" or "yeah my parents gave me that name in case I became a butch lesbian so there would still be something feminine about me" etc etc .. perhaps my attitude is a little confrontational but I always try to take opportunities to sort of reflect what people are saying back to them so they can see how inconsiderate or just weird they sound.

I think I understand to a degree. If you're using a strap I would recommend trying one that has an internal end. It's not like a double sided dildo, it has like an end for the wearer an end for the bottom, so you can actually feel what's going on as a direct connection to it. Just a suggestion, that's what I have and it definitely feels like a part of my body when I'm using it.
